After an interview for a job what do you exactly do?

Do you send them a thank you letter? do you go back check on your the status of your paper and stuff? how will you follow up on it?

Dont send a thank you letter!!! Did they say that they would be in touch? wait a few days see if a letter arrives, you may be selected for a 2nd interview. If you dont hear anything ring them and ask, they should give you some feedback even if you were un-successful

Most people say they'll call you to let you know. Wait one to two weeks for a response. If they do not call, chances are you won't get the job, but call the business and ask the person who interviewed you if they've made a decision about the position you interviewed for. If they say they have not, simply say, "Okay, I look forward to speaking with you again." or something like that. Don't ask when you should call back or anything, it'll just make you seem impatient and they'll go away from it with a negative feeling about you. If you don't hear from them in the next week or two, start looking for another job.
