Qwest Field in Seattle has earned a reputation as arguably the loudest stadium in the NFL. Since the 2005 season, more penalties for false starts have been called against visiting teams in Qwest Field than in any other NFL stadium. At one point during the 2006 season, the New York Giants actually complained that Qwest Field was artificially piping in noise in order to distract visiting quarterbacks from running a count but this turned out to be a false accusation. During the 2005 NFC Championship Game against the Carolina Panthers, the decibel level recorded by Fox reached 137db. The north end zone seating, called the "Hawks Nest", was specifically designed for rowdy fans; the seating consists of metal bleachers which reflect sound, and fans often stomp to create even more.

K.C. and Arrowhead is almost always considered the most hostile. Not sure they are the loudest though. Big reason is because as loud as it is you have the DOMES. If Arrowhead had been domed(both as an orginal plan and as an attempt that didn't work recently) then yeah it would be. The fans might not be as loud in a dome but they tend to pipe in more noise and make them louder.

Although I do agree with the Chiefs having a loud stadium, the RCA Dome (Colts) are louder. With the dome being over 25 years old, it lacks current day technology of echoes being absorbed. On many occasions, even Peyton Manning has had to guiet down the crowd to tell his teammates a play

I'm assuming it's either Arrowhead in KC or Quest in Seattle. They both draw sick amounts of false start penalties for the road teams (and that's without the Giants offensive line to inflate those numbers).

It's Arrowhead, no doubt. After that, I believe Seattle is second. Although, that might have less to do with the fans, and more to do with the fact that Paul Allen had the place architected to be loud.

Yes, Arrowhead is quite loud. I have no idea what "KC REPRESENT son" means though.
