my brother xbox 360 is flashing red at the power on button and it won't let him do anything can anybody please tell me why this is happening and what we can do to fix it

if the one red light becomes 3 red lights, thats nicknamed the "ring of death" apparently....means theres a hardware failure and its un-fixable. theyre meant to be really terrible for breaking down xx

This was featured on 'Watchdog' last week!! There are some problems with a lot of XBox 360's.They are crashing & the hardware is failing-red lights all over the place!! Everybody is having the same prob. basically it's f***ed!!Get on to the manufacturers asap,as they are trying to replace as many as they can with ones without the fault.

Well i am currently on my 4th Xbox 360, so i should probably no lol. if it is 3 red lights, it means hardware failure and you will have to send it back to microsoft for a replacement, if its 2 red lights then its probably just over heated. let it cool for a bit!

THE ONLY TIME MY XBOX EVER DID THAT WAS BECAUSE THE PLUGGED WAS HOOKED INTO SOMEWHERE WITH A LOW ENERGY OUTPUT. Make sure that you plug it in somewhere where you get lots of energy cuz it needs lots of power to kick a** like it does.

happened to mine. i got a new. i also got a ps3, BEASTLY... u should get both. just return it, get a 360, and a ps3..
