firstly i am british, and i did not say it WAS a conspiracy and that bush was to blame,i am being devils advocate and seeing it from both sides of the coin..why are so many people being so defensive on this...i understand the americans defending their leader but i am merely asking a very reasonable question...a day that leaves reasonable doubt surely deserves that

I do not--but many of my countrymen and women do.

The US had no connection (other than lack of leadership) to what occurred on 9/11. Bin Laden obviously planned and financed the attack.

The goofballs use false logic and bad science to push their theories. The vibration alone of an aircraft slamming into the structure of a building that tall will stress every fiber of the structure from top to bottom.

As a past, radar installation engineer I am aware of 85 foot radar towers who's bolt heads sheared off over a few weeks time due to the metal expanding couple with the bolts being over torqued. They sound like rifles being fired when the bolt shears. The heads fly off at blinding speeds and will kill someone if struck.

A plane fully loaded with fuel and passengers traveling over 300 knots is too much for any man made, above ground, structure to bear. Bush did not pay Bin Laden to plan and finance the attack. As much as I hate Bush, I'm not a lunatic.

I don't THINK it was a government conspiracy. It's impossible to pay someone to go on a suicide mission, or to keep all the NY city emergency workers from talking.

Still, lots of things are shady. Trillions of dollars of U.S. Treasury gold that Rumsfeld announced missing on Sept. 10, 2001 (no one remembered that), the law banning airline pilots' possession of guns only a few months before, relatively small and brief investigations of the incident, the random targeting of Iraq, and the bid-free war contracts lining our politicians' pockets with billions in Treasury money that we borrow from China because we don't have it........

I really think the Bush Administration might have known it was coming and done nothing on purpose, but I don't think they actually STAGED it.

No.
Where's your proof?
It was an unprovoked attack like Pearl Harbor.
A criminal act by a madman who wanted to pick a fight with us.
Well you saw what happened? We liberated the people of Afghanistan, killed and captured his followers and he ran away and hid like a coward. If he wanted martyrdom so much why wasn't he fighting and dying alongside his men?
Iraq was a conspiracy by the Bush administration, using the actions of the terrorists to get revenge on Saddam, it's a pointless and illegal war. If the president had any sense he's pull out all troops and divert them to Afghanistan to capture Osama and rebuild the country. The people have lived through dictatorship, Islamic rule and anarchy, they're more willing to cooperate than the Iraqis.

9/11 was a great excuse for the Bush administration to get their hands on Iraqi oil and get a foothold in the Middle East, that's for sure.

Having said that, I don't think 9/11 was known about in advance and "allowed" to happen. America looked extremely vulnerable in front of the world being attacked like that and that is not an image they want to project.

The same is said about Pearl Harbour, that it was "allowed" to happen so America could enter World War II. I don't believe that either.

Yes, conspiracies do happen, but people are giving the Bush administration way too much credit to think they could come up with such a Machiavellian scheme as 9/11. They're not that clever, they just used the situation to their advantage like the opportunists they are.

I believe that it was planned by the Globalists and executed by the high level officials in the Government, with the help of other lesser officials who were connected to the Globalists in various different ways. There are many excellent documentaries that you can watch on Google Video, which are very informative, and answer a lot of questions, and ask other questions, that the official story refuse to address!!! Any one who really wants to know, should look at these alternative films.!!!! They are very persuasive in their arguments.!!!

If you believe that the American Govt orchestrated 9/11 you probably are dumb enough to believe FDR invited the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor also. If you really have so little faith in this country why don't you pack your bags and emigrate to the mideast or maybe to France. You'll find plenty of sick puppies, like yourself, there and can spend your days commiserating with them.

I just know that there are too many things that don't add up.

Conspiracy theories are always derided...but they are the sign of a democracy at work....so I would doubt those who are intolerant of democracies right to doubt before I would doubt the craziest conspiracy theory!!!

I think it's possible. But it's more likely to be the way some of the other posters said....the Administration had information that they ignored, and they knew about it and didn't lift a finger to prevent it.

My take is that the government for years turned their backs on information that was spoon fed to them.

There wasn't. It would take a real disturbed mind to think that there was a plot to kill Americans by Americans.
