"Say buddy can you spare a shortstop"? >Berroa was the worst full time player in MLB last year, he's also a bigger dog than Manny Ramirez.

The Royals offense should be considerable better this year. The starting pitching will be a little better. The bullpen should be much better>I don't think Dotel is going to blow 32 saves like the Royals "closer" last year.

The Royals are not going to go .500 or anything, the central division is just too tough for that, but 72-90 would not surprise me.

The Royals DONT suck. They've just had some really bad management choices. Now that Dayton Moore is in charge, things will get better. It will take a few years, but mark my word...KC will be contenders again.

Sure they had to "overpay" for Gil Meche...but that was one good solid investment. It tells other players that KC is starting to get serious about winning again.
And with Alex Gordon coming up, look out!
If Mike Sweeney stays healthy I see KC losing less than 90 games this year. KC could very well surprize everyone and beat down the chicago whinny sux into last place!

The Kansas City Royals were respectable in the early 80's. What happened until now has been a death spiral. It is sad because KC has had great players pass through their organization to go on to other teams and do well, Damon, Dye, e.t. a.l.

To address your question, KC might be in the toughest division in baseball. This makes things much more difficult for them. I will say 90 losses.

Its always time for the Royals to suck. I think they will have at least 100 losses this year.

They'll go a respectable (in Royals standards) 69 - 93. Not 100 losses, should be in their record book.

It's a damn shame the Yanks had a rivalry with them, because they suck now.

it depends. if they lost all good players them alot. if they got good players they would win not much but be better. Well i know they royals to stink alot so it would be like hmmm probably 53 wins
loose about 111. Its a guess. I know they will be horrable this year. out of 164 games they will win 53. Is that better? losing 111. Wow thats a good guess for me cause i know the royals stink!
