The racing season begins on January 1, and continues to December 31. In other words, there is no "season" for autosports; it's always racing season. Check your newspaper's sport section for various events in your area, as well as for results from Formula 1, autocross, drag racing, and sports cars.

Formula One starts on March 18th in Australia.
Check out the FIA website, should have schedules for most motor sport catagories.

Depends on what racing you mean. World Superbikes started yesterday, Moto GP starts on 10th March. British Superbikes starts on Easter Weekend. I'm going, my boyfriend is a marshal, can't wait, will be super, hope the weather is good :-).
