Because people cannot accept the fact that other people in the world are not like them. Since everyone views their own way of thinking as the ONLY right way, they naturally think that anyone who differs must have something wrong with them. With over six billion people in the world, it is absurd for anyone to think that everyone will like the same thing. What you have between your legs does not determine with whom you wish to love. We all want someone who is compatible, who compliments who we are, and who provides the ballance of who we are not. Homosexual men find that ballance only with men, and heterosexual men find that ballance only with women.
A righthanded person can use his left hand all he wants, but he will never be lefthanded and writing with his left hand will always be unnatural. Likewise, a gay man can have sex with a million women and it will never make him straight, and a straight man can have sex with a million men and it will never make him gay. Being gay or straight - like being left or right handed - is who you are, not what you do.

you are right,
And David genetics has nothing to do with sexuality but still being homosexual is not a choice. As a matter of fact, sexuality is as any other tendency or desire related to psychology or sociology.
Ex. If u like chocolate or football, or music, or Beyonce or , or, or... doz it mean that ur mother or father like chocolate or doz it mean u choose to eat it although you dont like it and have the chance to eat something beteer?
Neither is right
it is either you have tendency that is innate in you to such components which make your own personality regardless of your ancestor's desire, or it is the atmosphere around u and the personal experiences that created in you the love for such things or people.
Ex. on the last idea: If u were prevented from eating chocolate for a time u would probably have a greater love for chocolate.
or if u were into football but you wer prevented, rejected or got really hurt while playing such sport you may shift ur interest unconciously into something else.
Sexuality is the same: it is either borne innately in your personality, or it is the work of socialization around you like if you were hurt in a straight sex or got rejected from straight sex all of which might cause unconcious fetishes to homo-sex.
And in both cases it is not your fault or choice.
sometimes homosexuality can be biologically interpreted as a a malfunction in conjugation of chromosomes forming trisomies (XXY or XXX) or monosomies (X0), or a mutation in hormonal genes. The other reasons are stonger because such biological disfunctions are accompanied with physical disformaltities which is not the case in most gay people. Nevertheless, no matter how you flipped it is not a choice.

Well, I think it can be a choice or chance {of the physiological variety}.
For example, scientists are opening up male ram brains, of individuals who favored other males {and not males that acted femininely, males that acted as males} for sex acts, and finding that their physical make-up is actually different than that of a "straight" ram.
Of course, mountainous herbivores aren't people.
I myself knew from one of my first conscious memories that I was different. I have met a boy who never had any luck meeting or dating girls. He was somewhat frustrated; when he became gay, he made thousands of new friends and nabbed a boy without any issue. One of my closest friends calls herself 'bisexual' but almost exclusively dates boys while discussing girls in distasteful detail.
I think sexuality is not a choice or a chance but a kind of continuum. It makes the most sense to me that everyone is born "bisexual", able to feel attraction to either gender. I then think that early life experiences dictate whether it will remain so or swing one way or the other. Obviously, if you really want to be gay/straight/both/neither, "whether you think you can or you can't, you can". Mind over matter. People who convert to evangelical faiths find themselves "cured" of homosexuality. Why? Their zeal is just that strong -- which is neither bad nor good.
I think the best thing the homosexual community could do is keep their ears on the ground for scientific reports, define their own sexuality and tolerate everyone's opinions, no matter how hurtful or ignorant.
Ave atque vale.

I feel that some children are born with 2 sexes. You may have a boys body with the insides and generics of a girl. It has been know that some boys or girls get sick all the time because they have the generics of both sexes in them. Some are born with both types of genital.
I don't believe in people being bisexual though. You are either gay or not. Those who are just like their cake and eat it too! They a gluttons!!!!!!

I believe you do choose. I choose to be heterosexual, it goes both ways. I am not ignorant, I choose to live my life a certain way, you can live yours your way. Why do you even care if people say it is a choice? Will it change your mind about being homosexual?
Just because someone says it is a choice, it doesn't mean that we hate homosexuals. I don't understand why everyone has to get hostile over someones opinion.

Most of who do have taken the KJV Bible out of context. They have only used certain verses to vindicate in what they believe; just like that Bible verse about judging others.

No there is actually a very good reason to believe this. If it were genetically passed on than that would mean gay people would be creating children somehow. THey don't unless they choose to be heterosexual but how would they if like you said it were a choice. Genetics is not idiocy.

They want it to be a choice, because if their deep seeded want for a hard juicy one in their mouth (guys) or the gentle caress of a female's embrace (girls) were genuine then they'd be going straight to hell.
