I could tell you the "long-overdue" winner: MARTIN SCORSESE. I would be surprised just because he's been nominated so many times, and never won the damned thing.

hopefully the surprise will be that babel didn't win best picture and little miss sunshine snagged the title.

I really hope not but people are saying "Little Miss Sunshine" will win for best Picture...I thought the whole movie was awful.
