Im very quiet. I talk to people sometimes, but whenever i do everyone else goes silent and tries to listen to what im saying. Why are people so curious?

I think that is a sweet quality you have, and it seems that people go quiet because you are worth listening to, but also like you said you are quiet, and they are probably amazed when you talk because they know you speak quietly, sometimes shyness can make a person speak quietly, but remeber no matter how you are you have a right to be listened to, and heard.

Besides curious, it's polite to listen, without interrupting the person speaking.....

Probably because they're so used to you being quiet and when you do talk they want to hear what you have to say.

They're just shocked you're talking and want to listen before you quit again. Maybe you have a sexy voice. I don't know.
