ok, I'm pretty confused, help is appreciated, thanks. Ok, directions: homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings , finish each sentence below:

example: if your soup gets cold, you'll have to eat: answers 1: chili. 2. chilly.

example 2: I dug a: answer 1. hole. 2: whole.


ok, now here are a few problems:

1. the patient asked the foot doctor, " Will my ( blank) , (blank)

its suppose to be the smae words spelled differently with differnt meanings.

2. neighing all day might make a (blank), (blank)


does anyone get this?

HomoPHONES are 2 or more words that sound the same but are spelled differenty and/or have different meanings.
Ex. bear :: bare
Ex. see sea

HomoGRAPHS are two or more words that are spelled the same but have different meanings and/or sound differently.

Ex. read :: read
Ex. wind :: wind
