If you are sure that its not the bulb or a fuse,See if you can find the reversing light switch on the gearbox. it should have 2 wires going to it. With the ignition switched on, cross the wires together by disconnecting them at the switch and putting another piece of wire between them(any conductor will do). This will complete the circuit and switch your lights on. If this happens, then you know that it is the switch that is at fault. If the lights still dont work, then it is something that will take a bit more work and it would probably be better to take the car to an auto electrician,

Could be corrosion in the circuits. I have a corsa and for a long time I had only one rear light but the bulb was fine. When I had a look I could see the corrosion when I took the bulb out. I was waiting for my boyfriend to have a look at it for me when he moved over and as is usual about a week before he arrived it started working and has been ever since.

You probably need a new bulb. My side light stopped working and went to Halfords to get a new bulb, dont go there, they sold me the wrong ones the dipsticks! Best bet is to take it to the Vauxhall garage and get them to do it for you.
