How do i differentiate whether a newly purchased Maruti Zen Estilo car is a 2006 model or 2007 model ?

The vehicle identification number, (VIN) will identify the model year. I'm not sure where you can find the code meanings to decipher it.

Look at the VIN, 10th digit. 6=06 and 7=07

you can see the car papers and you will get to know the manufacturing date of the vehicle...its as easy as dat...don't worry it is there on the car's RC....take care
