so when one of the links has a mouse over it, in that grey box text will be displayed based on that links, something like a description in a iframe or something.

Here is another, possibly simpler, way of doing the
same thing ( first link ). This time without an image
swap. View the page source to see how it was done.

The code is based on that of the second link.
