Jake "The Snake" Roberts, I haven't heard that name in a while. I am suprised nobody mentioned MY favorite moment. It was touched on slightly with the blind fold match comment. OK, anyways, for me it was when Rick "The Model" Martel sprayed Jake in the eyes with his perfume "Arrogance". Jake was "permanetly" blinded. Eventually, as the weeks played out, he started "miraculously" recovering. It grossed me out when I was a kid... I still thought pro wrestling was real. So when he had those nasty zombie contacts in, I was disgusted, it was awsome. Eventually, he started wrestling still blind, and got used to it against "jobbers". Then, after he got his sight, he got to wrestle Martel in the Blind Fold Match. Jake was VERY accustomed to being blind, Martel was not. And yes, Jake won. It is also when I found out wrestling was fake. Look, kids get busted up when they find out Santa/Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy etc are not real. I didn't give a fock about that. I remember I asked my grampa why Jake chose to wrestle Martel instead of calling the police, that's when I found out it was not real. I was shocked. I was only about 8 though, so, whatever. So, yeah, that's my Jake story. That was a great question, brought me back to the old school. Thank you.

When Jake Roberts lost against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania VIII and making his Deadman 2-0. and in April 1 he's gonna destroy batista to make the Deadman 15-0

Like the other responders, when I first saw the snake and because of his finisher- the dreaded DDT!! Back then that move was guaranteed victory. My family has called me Jake the Snake for the last 22 years (I'm 32) because of my being such a big fan. To bad he is a drug/alcohol addict nowadays.

When he locked the Undertaker's hands in the casket on the Funeral Parlor Segment on WWF Superstars and DDT Paul Bearer. That was funny as hell to me!
Jake's promos were priceless in the WWF. He had the fans eating out of his hands!

When he pulled out the 14 foot Anaconda for the first time. Legendary. He scared everyone in that ring, and even Vince AND Jake questioned this persona cause the damn thing was huge! Long live the DDT!

when he took the cobra out and attaked Randy Savage at the wedding I think it was Summer Slam or Tuesday in Texas not sure
