i want to get some new headphones .i love trance music so theres alot of base, also i sit near my wife an kids watching tv, so they have to be pretty soundproof as i like it loud. havnt got loads of money. any suggestions? fanx

Check out American musical supply, they have free shipping. I just bought Yamaha's RH5ma $49. I was considering Sennheiser 212 before that. They also have some that are supposed to be more for movies than music.

For about 15 quid, you can get a pair of Philips in-the-ear headphones from Argos. They have great bass response, a volume slider (handy when somebody says something to you) and emit virtually no noise through the ventilation ports - so no slaps round the head.

i have a nice pair of Sony Headphones, got them for 20 quid from Argos.
I think they are for home cinema but work great on the beats of dance and D and B

Try Philips w/ noise cancelling headphone.Theres lots of model to suit your budget.
