It is up to the woman herself if she wants to shave, partly shave or not. It is all how you feel about it.

I shave, completely and get as much as possible. But it's hard, and it hurts! It also itchs like a ***** when it starts to grow back. I usually shave 1-3 times a month, so it's not shaved all month long, it's too much of a pain to try to do that. Once you shave, it really hurts to go in two days later and shave again. It's irritated for quite awhile afterwards.
I've never tried shapes. I have no idea what the point of it is.

I shave down there because I do not like body hair. Its a personal choice of women. I usually shave all or I will occasionally shave a shape of a J for my husband's initial. ;)

Depends on the season for me. I usually keep it "trimmed" closely all year and then in summer will go for a modified Brazilian wax....I leave a little in the front and don't do the shapes...but I do like waxing vs. shaving.....re-growth from shaving is painful!

Every women has there own prefrence. Some go all the way some leave a complete bush and sme like run wys or shapes. Depends on what you want not what people think or say.

I personally shave everything but my head cause i can't stand body hair, its good on my boyfriend but i like to be perfectly smoooth
