Homosexuality is Found in nature, And according to The Bible, nature is Without Sin because they know not What is Right or Wrong.
So therefore, Homosexuality is not Sin.

Many people use the Christian perspective as a point. But the Bible's meaning changes with time... (See sources)
However, I believe people are just too exposed to people who use the gay jokes. You may have also, I know I have, but I do so innocently and only with close friends that I *know* will not take it personally.
Personally, I find being bisexual helpful in one major way. It allows me to hide my feelings, because I'm used to the closet life, and just worry about things that I've always valued, like my grades. However, I see nothing wrong with having a relationship, I just will save most of that for after school...
As a downside, you lose friends. But, at the same time, you gain many more.
As Dr. Suess says "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
I don't like to let my feelings cloud my judgement, however, when I do, it can be disasterous. I can end up hanging around people I like that have very negative attitudes toward society and/or life.
Other than that, I'm happy being who I am. I know that God made me this way and I'm thankful every day for it.
Please click the link in sources for more info about what some Chistians use to argue with... It will justify it all and clear up the water for you ;)
Best of luck!

Being straight or being gay is not wrong. But the real issue is, if we are going to judge what is right and wrong, upon which standard do we use? The Bible? Physiology? Evolution? Atheism?
PHYSIOLOGICALLY: two males or two females fit together, not only very well, but actually better and more comfortably. There is nothing physically unnatural about the joining of two of the same gender, and if it were unnatural then homosexual pairings would not constantly be reported throughout nearly the entire animal kingdom.
ATHEISTICALLY: there is no God and therefore there is no high moral order to account to, so anything you do makes no difference because when you die you get all dressed up with no place to go anyway. So go ahead and fornicate, adulterate, and anything else you want to do (unless you don't want to look like a fool to your neighbors).
EVOLUTIONARILY: all things happened by a whopping random chance - including sex and sensation and love - and therefore whatever exists is natural because Nature produced it; it is the way of nature to kill and be killed and to do whatsoever takes anyone's or anything's fancy to do, and Nature will sort the whole lot out in her own sweet billions-of-years of time, and it is only man that has chosen to force moral rules upon one another by inventing a god, which is unnatural and in resistence to Nature, which has no consciousness of her own yet somehow has been able to direct the evolution of all things.
BIBLICALLY: I for one stand with the Bible, which means that what GOD says determines right and wrong. When it comes to the issue of sexuality, there is one law that sums it all up: Sex is the act of joining two people into one being and therefore sex may only be performed within a covenant union of marriage. Though the Bible does condemn both heterosexual and homosexual FORNICATION and ADULTERY, and places such as Leviticus and Romans condemn heterosexuals from leaving their nature to mate with the same gender, nothing in Scripture prohibits homosexuals from marriage.

A lot of people believe that it is wrong to be homosexual because of their religion. Other people are just scared of people who are different. I suppose you could say that the disadvantages of being gay are having these types of people condemning you to Hell all the time or refusing to talk/work/live with you. There aren't really "pros and cons" of being gay. It's not like becoming a doctor or a teacher; being homosexual is not a decision or a choice. It's just the way you are; the way you were born. Hope this helped you out.

The negatives and positives of being HUMAN.
We're HUMAN BEINGS....we have all the SAME emotions, dreams, worries, needs....
No, it's not wrong to be gay...unless you're not gay...than it would be wrong for you.
Look at the following answers, many of them are talking about "religion" and "Babies"...but the truth is...we are who we are.
I had a baby...so that whole notion that gays can't have kids is a complete and utter lie.
Gays and lesbians are NOT STERILE...no more than are heterosexuals.
We're physiologically IDENTICAL.
I think it's ironic how there is ALWAYS some group the religious fanatics will be hateful towards. Be they jews, muslims, gays, physically handicaped, left handed, red haired, epileptics...you name it...the fundimentalist christians will ALWAY rail against one group or another...they simply can't seem to "love" everyone at the same time.
Sad really, that they're lives are so petty that they absolutely feel they must hate someone.

It's not wrong. I'm not gay so I don't know the postive affects but I know that one of the negative affects is that people just won't leave them alone
