Can someone tell me which parks require a full day and which parks I can visit in half a day?
Theme Parks to visit: Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, Epcot, Islands of Adventure, Kennedy Space Center, MGM Studios, Pleasure Island (nightlife), Seaworld, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild, Blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon (which of these two is best?)

Do not go to Epcot! I went there last summer and i have a really bad experience. There is not many rides and there is a lot of walking.
The best place to go is Universal Studios. It is very fun and there are many water rides.
I have never been to wet 'n wild, but i have seen it a few times. It looks very fun and there are many water slides

Epcot: If you're in for just the rides, Mission Space in Epcot is awesome but that's about it. However Epcot is good for shopping and eating, especially during the Food and Wine festival. The Japan shop is awesome, I've always spent at least a hundred bucks in there. Half a day might be enough if you don't walk around the park. Remember there's a spectacular fireworks in the evening that's definitely worth seeing.

MGM Studios: lots of rides, full day required. Tower of Terror is a must.

Kennedy Space Center: half a day is enough but make sure you go in time for a guided tour. Also since it's a bit far from other parks, visiting will probably take a full day if you count in the driving and lunch. The gift shop here is dangerous.

Pleasure Island: horrible place! :) If you're old enough to go, you probably won't like it.

Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon: both cool but half a day is just fine. I suggest you go in the morning right after the place opens and spend a couple hours in the slides. Then leave for lunch and go check Epcot for the evening.

Btw Animal Kingdom is pretty cool if you go on the Kilimanjaro Safari where you can see the animals in open air. Expedition Everest is also supposedly a must-see ride.

That's it, don't know of the other places.

Sure thing! I've never been to Adventure Island, but I can list info for all of the others!

Busch Gardens - full day (driving time from Orlando is also about 45 minutes each way)
EPCOT - definitely a full day
Islands of Adventure - depends on crowd flow. I visited during the busy time one year in July and we were done (had seen and done everything) by 6pm - so I'd say half day
Kennedy Space Center - full day. Pack a lunch in a disposable cooler and eat out at your car. Their food is not very good. But then plan to have dinner somewhere in Coco Beach on the water - great food and great views! Kennedy is also about a 50 minute drive each way from Orlando and back.
Disney-MGM Studios: half day
Pleasure Island: a few hours
Sea World - full day
Universal Studios: half day (a good plan is to visit Universal for half the day and spend the other half at Islands! They are right next door to each other and you can walk between the two!)
Wet N' Wild - Depends on crowds - but typically a half day
Blizzard Beach - full day
Typhoon Lagoon - half day

As for the water parks: it just depends on your taste. Do you prefer lots of slides and fast rides? Then Blizzard is for you. If you like slower-paced family rides, then Typhoon is for you. Here are the must do attractions at both water parks:

Blizzard Beach:

Summit Plummit - although lightweights shouldn't go on this - I was very tiny then and it hurt to go down it.
Tobbogan racers
Family Rapids ride - Teamboat Springs

Typhoon Lagoon:

surf pool - its huge!
Crush N' Gusher
Lazy River
Shark Reef

These parks allow you to bring in your own food - which is highly recommended!

Well, Adventure Island and Busch Gardens are right next door to eachother, in Tampa. They each take a full day. Disney MGM Studios and Pleasure Island are right next to eachother, as well as Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach is the best water park.

You need a full day for all of them. They are huge parks and if you want to take everything in, you will need to spend a full day. You will want to spend at least 2 days at Universal and Epcot. It's impossible to visit two of the parks in one day, because they are all spread out across the state, and it is also very expensive to visit all of them.

I would suggest visiting Universal, Epcot and Seaworld. They are all in Orlando so you don't need to travel very far between them. If you are into NASA and space exploration, visit Kennedy Space Center. It's about 1 hour from Orlando. The other parks are in different areas of Florida.

ok well this is a little muddled but i will try to help.. if you are going to be in orlando i think your best bet for the time and money would be to stay in the area.. bush gardens is a lot of fun but it is a bit of a drive from orlando.. universal studios and islands of adventure are right next to each other and you can hit all the major rides for both in one day... if you are interested in wanderind around and watching shows and such you could easily spend a whole day in each...seaworld is a lot of fun but there aren't a lot of thrill rides mostly shows and animals. you can do mgm/epcot in one day go to mgm first epcot is usually open later.. it really depends on what you want to do... thrill rides.. shows water parks? it would be easier to answer if you gave a little more info

you would half to pay a full day at all f hem. But a lot of places have discounts if you come after a certain hour like 4pm. But you can get a park hopper pass for ho ever many days you want for ALL the Disney parks. You can decide to go for like 3 days and spend a half a day in each of the parks.

to be honest you really need to take a more than a day to get the full appreciation of any of the parks, as there is so much to do. epcot will take a day to full appreciate the world showcase so you really need another day to get the rest of the park in.

mgm has so much to offer with its shows and rides that it will take a day or more to take it all in, i could keep going but if you visit their websites then you will see what they have to offer and why it will take so long.

depending on what your interested in thogh you could cut half the park out and take a half day.
