Do i regret it yes, no doubts what so ever, but you got to look at it this way. This the marriage over all that holds it together is that peice of paper, are you both unhappy, take a step back a picture yourself w/out you'r wife, and think whats good for you, you'r wife' and kids, divorce is hard kids, but if your both unhappy it will show and affect you'r kids, so its going to be hard but you gotta do whats best for everybody.

I have never regretted getting a divorce. I was in an abusive marriage for a long time. My children were grown and moving out and I was still going through hell. My divorce was an answer to my prayers. My children were adults and they didn't really care whether or not there dad and I were divorced. I am now remarried and doing much better.

My wife actually filed, but I do regret divorce for our children. It was inevitable, however, since my ex was solely intent on her own career and tried to take every dime she could get. She was poor when I met her and had been all her life.

I wanted a family and a housewife. Instead, I got a psycho uppity Barbie wannabe. How she got champagne tastes on a beer budget I'll never know.

I do not regret filing or finally receiving my divorce. My husband was a controlling abuser. He and his family made my life a living hell. As for my daughter, I believe that showing her what a strong smart woman looks like, is more important than exhibiting the behavior of a controlled, snivelling, doormat.

Don't do it. We had a legal separation for two years and still managed to work things out. A work in progress.
