The Departed:-)

I agree completely with Chel. Babel was a mess, Little Miss Sunshine was pointless and The Queen appealed to brits only. THat leaves the Departed and the best of the year, Letters From Iwo Jima. Unfortunately, Babel will probably win because of political correctness. If you are going to give Al Gore an Oscar, Babel would fit right in there.

Hopefully, The Queen or Letters from Iwo Jima.

Most likely, The Departed (the Academy owes Scorcese big time).

It would be a pleasant surprise if Babel or Little Miss Sunshine wins it.

Letters from Iwo Jima.

I've watched all five nominations and Letters is by far the best. The Departed is excellent, but not as good as Iwo. Babel is just weird.

It wasn't nominated but I think THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA should not only have been nominated but win it's the best movie I've seen since Narnia.
