Does anyone know about the new procedure called essure. It is when they put nickel titanium alloy and stainless steel implantes in to your fallopian tubes. Anyway my question is can these things pop out, and can u still get pregnant?

I have had this procedure. After a 3 month period you have an xray to check the implants are still in place. If they are then you know you will never lose them. They are designed so they will irritate the wall of the falopian tube and it will react by growing tissue over the metal surface. This premanantly blocks the tube. If you are considering it though you need to be aware it is NOT reversible..................... I was late having my xray too hehehe. If you just go to any Dr they can refer you for an xray to check that the blockages are in place. I'd advise going back to the clinic where you first had the procedure though as they will have your records.

I haven't heard of that procedure and not so sure that it even sounds good. Try and study up on lapriscopic tubal banding. They go in thru the navel and place a band around the tubes. I had that done 18 years ago. No pain and no pregnancy.

I heard about it.. isn't it 99.9% effective? I might be wrong, but I read about it at the doctor's office. It has something crazy like a 0.03% failure rate.
