Is this Delta Sigma Theta or some other sorority? I am pretty sure that it is basically the same for both. If it is Delta Sigma Theta which is an African American sorority they have an intrest meeting, where potential applicants come and learn a few select things about the sorority, and then the application process begains if the soroity picks you to pledge. NOT every one gets in because NOT every one is deserving to join. Decisions are made based on character, grades, reccomendations and personality. There maybe some type of "tryout" which could be considered pledging or hazing. In which members of that organization ask you to "prove" yourself worthy of those Greek letters. Other DELTA sororities have "rush" or "pledge" week where applicants come to meetings held by members and requirements are set. Signs should be posted up at your college or university campus. Or maybe you could check out your campus chapter online and see what their pledge process is.
