I'm just looking for poetry for my own reading enjoyment, this is not for any type of work, just my own enjoyment. That being said, do you have any poem recommendations that are peaceful poems, that give you a feeling of peace and calmness? Please give me as many suggestions as you can. I greatly appreciate this, thank you! I prefer the poetry is among the classics, but contemporary poetry is welcom e as well..! Thanks!

Li Young Lee is a very good poet, and not quite as obvious as all the other answers I'm sure you'll get. He's probably in his late 30s early 40s now, so he is contemporary, but you really wouldn't know it from his poetry. He came and did a poetry reading at my school and he's one of the most down-to-earth and relaxed people you'll ever see. If you'd like to know more about him, he's on www.poets.org

William Butler Yeats is a great one. John Gould Fletcher, also good. If you want more craziness, read Allen Ginsberg.
