I'm auditioning for my school's show choir in the spring and I need a good song that will show off my voice (I need it now so I can start practicing it). I'm a soprano, if that helps.

Foreign languages are very impressive if you're trying out for a serious choir.
It's a show choir, though, so I would suggest a pop-influenced musical number. Anything from High School Musical would probably work well (just pick something to show off your range!). Seussical the Musical has some spectacular numbers. I also like Any Dream Will Do from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Just remember- don't pick something too low or too high for your range. Nothing is more unattractive to a choir director than a cracky, scratchy voice.
