We are currently ttc and my gynae has put me on Clomid and metformin, although neither are inducing ovulation.
On my first few cycles he prescribed Provera to give me a "fake" period and to take Clomid cd2-6, these last few cycles he has not given me Provera and said take Clomid cd1-5, he said that i do not need to have Provera to make me bleed to start a cycle and that the Clomid has as much chance of making me ovulate without a bleed as it does with one, make sense?.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks xx

doughnut-thanks for the link.
jo74-thats terrific, you must have been ovulating but not having periods which they say doesn't happen, but obv it does cos your daughters are proof.

Doughnut-thanks hun. I am currently on Metformin and had ovarian drilling 6 months ago unfortunatly it didn't help me. I have just had a month off Clomid and plan to have another off. Apparently according to my gynae we are now allowed up to a years Clomid treatment. Met has not helped me so far either. :( . Thank you so much for your help. I am going to push for injectables but was told last time that no i couldn't have them. xx
