The first is to add a bogus entry for the site into your hosts file. For example, if you didn't want anyone to get to www.google.com, add this entry into your c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file:
192.168.0.1 www.google.com
This will tell the computer that anytime someone wants to get to www.google.com, go to the IP address listed. That's either your router or a invalid address. Do this for all the sites you want.
Another approach is to enable filtering on your router if it has that capability. You can turn on keywork or domain filtering or both. Domain filtering works for the entire domain.

Yes in internet options you can set websites that you want to block theres different websettings for each zone so go to the zone and customize it . You can put a url or urls in blocked zone on whichever zone you choose. You have a security setting you can customize allso and a parental control for specific sites you can add a password and set it and if password is set only you or administrater can change it .
