I bought a wireless mini camera and attached it to a remote controlled car so I could drive it around in the office at work from my computer monitor. However, the wireless mini camera came with a receiver with white and yellow RCA cables that need to connect to either a monitor or a TV. I already know that TVs have those sockets but I can't find them on my monitor.

Most computer monitors have a 15 pin connector and require a signal from the computer to display anything. If you want to display (or record) the images from the camera, you're going to need a video capture card or a video capture device. I've seen them from $50 and up.

Hi there.

No, your computer monitor does not come with RCA jacks. You'll need to have a VIVO (Video In/Video Out) graphics card that either has RCA jacks or S-Video plugin capability, as well as a seperate software to view your video input.

Also, a video capturing card will do the job nicely.

Hope this helps

Some graphics cards have RCA jacks, your work computer most likely doesn't. You would have to buy a device called a Dazzle (about $100), that you hook to your computer, it has the RCA jacks. I don't know if you want to spend that type of money for a cheap thrill, who knows. Chow
