I keep getting an error message saying that it may be being blocked by a firewall. I have switched off all the firewalls on my computer but it still shows the same message. Anyone got any ideas what to do?

try uninstall and re install it again might work but do not leave firewall off

After shutting down all your firewalls you have to shut down your computer and reboot msn messenger again. If this doesn't wok then I would suggest contacting MSN help hotline for assists.

Maybe try and restart your computer, if the doesnt work call your computer help line and they will walk you thru any problems that you have. For instance I have a Dell computer and I had a similar porblem like that, so I called Dell support line and they walked me thru how to correct my problem. I hope this helps!

to bypass th firwall use a proxy sush as hidemyass.com but to just use the messenger go to the website meebo.com it allows you to use aim, msn, google chat, and yahoo messenger all at the same time if you have an acount with them. its free!! but if you leav that webpage then you signoff goodluck
