realisticly, no matter what politicians and Presidentail canidates say, how long do you think it will take for the majority of our troops to leave the Middle East?

I would say at least 3 more years. They will stay in Iraq for the duration of the Bush term and for some time after that.

If I had a say, they'd be redeployed starting tomorrow. I hope they can be out this year or next year at the latest. All it would take is Congress growing a pair.

5-10 years... look how long we've been in Germany and Korea... no one wants another Vietnam, that is exactly what will happen if we pull out to quickly...
