Le Peuple au Britannique, Non ne pas Accepte le Euro Zest impossible. They are not really in Europe at all they have one leg in and one out. They have not Accepted the Kilometre either they still use miles. It is a matter of Prestige with them , a throw back to the Days of Empire. They wont change cant change. But you are right about Brussels they are a bunch of highly well Paid Bureacratic Dictators I dont trust them one Bit. Ruining our Farming Industry and the Fishermen with Rules and Quotas. I like the Euro it has served us well no problem with it, very handy for the Holidays. When I go to the Continent I dont have to worry about Currency Exchange , I can see Immediately what the Value of Goods are which are the Bargains. You should have a rethink of youre situation. You will still have Brussels no matter what you do . Unless there is a Plebiscite on Britain to leave the UE.

I hope to God that we never do. We would be surrendering ever more of our precious sovereignty to the unelected European Union which we would do well to get out of! Anyone who hopes that we ever give up our beloved currency to enter into this failing supra-national currency is living on "cloud cuckoo-land" to coin a phrase from our greatest Prime Minister.

Friends in Spain are far worse off since changing to the euro,it would be another excuse to rip us off.
We were horrendously robbed in 1971 when we had decimalisation,so I hope it never happens.

Unlikely in the short term. But who can say what will happen in the longer term. Just imagine if the Tories get back in in the next few years and plunge us into another spiral of economic boom and bust - they will end up begging the ECB to let us join.
