how to burn cds when your computer says insert a cd and insert it in the e drive but theres already a cd in it

when i click on burn it stop for a few sconds and then a little message comes up and says insert a blank cd and insert one in the e drive

Go to the device manager, tic on CD/DVD-ROM Drives, then right tic on the CD drive and select "Uninstall" then restart the computer. That will force the computer to re-load the drivers for the CD drive. They may have become corrupt.
