wishful thinking becuase don't forget the mavs are what? 46-9? And don't leave out the cavs, suns, spurs, and magic. They're all doing really good oh yeah and the wizards do not forget about them.

Wishful thinking, but they may get there shot at winning it all. For an east team to go to the finals is like winning it all. It is very obvious that the west dominates the NBA, and besides last years choke by Dallas the west will continue to win championships.

I am a die hard Cavaliers fan, so I root for the Pistons to lose whenever they play, but they just dont seem to lose much, so, as much as it pains me to say it, I think your buddy could be half right. I say that because they will not take down the Mavericks. The Mavs are too good not to win it all this year.

There is no way...Someone from the West would win the championship this year...
However, it is still possible that the Pistons would win it...say 20% chance

It could very well happen, Webber has provided a much needed scoring presence, which probably will propel them to the Eastern Finals, and very well could result in them winning the NBA championship.
