im going to get to the point people I have been working for this gas and oil company for nearly 2 years, my supervisor is ignorant, and doesnt know how to communicate with people nor has the respect for others, I have not yet to get a raise, she keeps people down under her to make it seem like she's the top person in our group, she can sit there and say something for us to do but than say no she didnt say that, she has emotionally scared me allot, making remarks about my minor weight, insulting my intelligence, and saying not so very nice things behind my backs to my coworkers. What am I suppose to do in this type of situation, I am preparing to write a letter towards our top head manager and also HR, I have 2 interns and 2 fulltime employees that are willing to sign and write a brief statement about her actions towards all of us, she makes it seem like, we are not important and that she gets acredited for all the work we do, when I was a temp i got payed 10 hrly now 14 hrly

I would do what you are doing. If you have no luck, just keep going up in terms of rankings all the way to the president. If the president still does not do any good, report it to the Labor Board and they should be able to tell you what to do or they can do something!

Document everything, including the specific time and date and what was said. If you just write a letter with vague accusations no one will believe you. After you have several specific incidents documented, then set a meeting with your boss's boss. Explain everything in clear detail, backing it up with facts. Remember, facts are not how you feel or what you think. Facts are specific details of what has happened. Too many people in this situation focus on feelings and what they think and then they have no credibility. It will also help if your coworkers will do the same thing, then you will not seem like a lone disgruntled employee.

You can file a harrassment claim but frankly, why don't you merely look for a new job? Harrassment claims can take years to sort out and if the company keeps this negative supervisor, then it isn't likely they will get rid of her. By the time the claim is settled you may be ready for Social Security! I would look for something else, as you really haven't been there too long (two years is not long) so you haven't got that much invested in that particular job.

Talk to others. Plan wild ways of punishing her. Do NOT carry them out BUT you will feel better. If she does one minor thing wrong, report it annomously.
Do write the letter to the boss. Do NOT send it. Read about what happens to 'whistle blowers' on Net.
Stay late, really late. Talk to cleaners, they often know the 'dirt' on people. Look on her desk you may find some ammunition.
Look for another job.
My son-in-law had this problem. He annonomously reported 'The weasel' for parking in a dis-abled bay.
My son-in-law is now a very senior boss and 'the weasel' is his junior. Guess what my wonderful son-in law couldn't care less now
