I don't want this to become a forum for bashing one another, I just want simple, unbiased answers. The thing is, they say that if God wanted gay people, he would have made it that way, but, didn't he do just that? I don't understand the double standard, because these are the same people who believe that everything on Earth is one of God's creations, and that he will forgive you for anything. But then they say that being gay is a sin, and that he will never forgive you, and that he didn't make you that way. So, I just don't get it. If someone could explain, I would really appreciate it.

they are people that love to use certain sections of the bible to their advantage to prove their point and forget such section such as JUDGE LEAST THEE BE JUDGED. so that way they can feel that it's THEIR job to pass judgement on others when I think that they don't really have the love in their hearts that God wants and expects them to and that is sad.

ok the beginning of the bible god made man then he made woman from there rib as a companion for him if he wanted 2 meen he would have created 2 men and god destroyed the city of sodom and gomorrah for the behavior of the people . god will forgive you for been gay but he says go sin no more that means not to go and do what you had been doing god is mercifull but if you keep asking for forgiveness and not changeing your ways then you are wasting your time

One thing about the Bible is that it does not teach using our own time, so we usually interpret it our not way, and in the end, we are the ones judging others. Nobody is perfect, and no sin is greater than another. People who go around saying gay people would never be forgiven are not better. Just because one hates something, he/she assumes that thing is wrong, which is wrong. God does not make us who we are, we are the ones who choose, and no matter how disagreeable He may be of our decision, I believe He would never love us any less. In the end, we have taken it upon ourselves to judge others, instead of God.

Ignorance is why we believe all kinds of nonsense. If we would but spend more time reading and listening and less time judging and talking through our hats --- we all would be just that much better off. And I don't think ignorance is the private domain of just the 'really religious people'. We are all guilty of it at one time or another. Just take in a deep breath and keep trying!!!!

The bible is against the gays...so the christain would act the same towards murders, theifs, and any other very noticable and outspoken person that are living in sin...yes its unfair but its the religion and they can belief what they want to belief.

Well I agree with you, and that is the point I try to make to them.
The problem for them is that THEY are against gays, and I believe that they feel inferior if they cannot accept God's creations. So they delude themselves into thinking that GOD must be against it, and have twisted the Bible to promote that view. I pray nightly for them to accept God's truth.

because they have nothing better to do.
no, y!A will not change that.
but somethings they need to keep in mind:
1) Sexual Preference is a gift from God
2) If God would have wanted me otherwise, he would have made me otherwise
3) God makes NO mistakes
i hold nothing against gay or straight people we are all equal in every fashion imaginable and love and diversity go hand in hand. we are all the same, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR! gay, straight, black white, left handed, right handed, stupid, smart. it doesnt matter.
