I liked the end of the 70's, got out of high school in 76 and joined the Air Force in late 77. The music rocked and it was a good time for me. Does that mean I'm old???? Well guess if the shoe fits I'm wearing it. Hehehehe....

I'd have to say the arrival of punk/new wave, suddenly everything was smarter, involved and upbeat, full of energy. I loved the late 70s and early 80s.

Protesting the Viet Nam war.
Soldiers comming home with back-packs full of Cambodian pot.
The "pigs" bashing hippie's heads in.

That the 70s are GONE ... and I hope that I never see any more of those UGLY "fashions" of that era ever again!!!!
(PS -- as a Military Retiree ... I can remember directly how us Military were treated in our own country -- abominable ... disrespected, and that is being polite about the situation).

I cried allot. And couldn't control my bodily functions. Things were pretty easy back then. Eat, sleep, poop.
I liked the drugs and the music the most.
