What is the meaning of TinTin? In my opinion, you should not name your boy this. He will surely get a lot of teasing and it's just not a pretty name to say. If you like this name though, i am surely on your side. One name that's in my head right now that maybe close to this name is Timothy. Good luck!

Tintin is the name of a famous 'cartoon' character in France. Many hard cover comic books were published. His dog's name was Milou. They turned it into a TV comic in Canada, and the dog's name became 'Snowball". I would NOT name my child for that character, altho they are great books.

I'm sorry, but do you know how much teasing your son would get if you named him this??? Please, although I admire your creativity and boldness, pick a name that would be less detrimental to your child's self esteem. Try changing the spelling on a common name to make it more phonetic, etc . . . anything but TinTin (sounds mix of the tin man and ToTo from the wizard of oz . . . lol). Good luck!!!

Maybe as an inside thing for your young child.
Like if his name is "Dustin" you could call him "TinTin" as a pet name.
But I honestly think if you consider naming your kid "TinTin" you need to look at some baby books.

I don't tend to answer on questions where I do not like the name... but seriously? Why would you even consider this name? This is going to be one of the top 10 worst name ideas I have ever heard.

Um. Please don't name your little boy TinTin. He will have to endure a lot of teasing. Kids can be cruel about names.
