An aspiration is something you wish to become. For example you could say ''I aspire to be a footballer'' or ''I aspire good mother or father''. It is basically a wish, but it is not just wishful thinking, it is a little bit more than just saying you hope it happens. You want to achieve something which means it is something you are going to work hard to try to achieve.
