It's possible that you and your partner have deifferent type of "sense of humour".
Some people have "dry" humour. Others are witty. Some people enjoy "sarcastic" humour, while others enjoy the more "blatant or obvious" humour...like "slap-stick". There is also "dark" humour...adult humour and childish humour.

BECAUSE YOU ARE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON TO YOUR PARTNER OR ANYONE ELSE, YOU ARE INDIVIDUAL, AS LONG AS YOU GET ON IN OTHER WAYS, OR MAYBE ITS JUST AS WELL YOU HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOUR , .......AS YOU NEED IT WITH YOUR PARTNER. BE HAPPY..
