People say they wish Cena was dead because:
A. they are jealous of him
B. they want attention
C. they want to fit in with other people who might be saying Cena sucks
I personally like Cena but his mic work is poor. He says the same thing every week--"HEY! HEY PUSSBAGS!" (sound familiar? All too much...) and it ticks me off. But his wrestling skills are acceptable. They too could use work--no one should have Five Moves of Doom. Batista pretty much his Five Moves of Doom and yet he's champ, too.
Just goes to show WWE hires wrestlers for their bodies and not their wrestling talents...
Ahem. Anyway. Back to your question.
I think they want attention, and by dissing Cena, they get more positive feedback for that than negative, as of now. Cena's fan base consists of mostly children under the age of 16--and I didnt believe this for a while, until I went to his Myspace page and saw that yes, indeed, most of his fans are under 16, myself included.
Hope that helps you. I dont think Cena should die. No one thinks he should; they just want attention or want him fired, but not dead.

Come on guys the answer is so easy. Right after the rock and goldberg and stone cold all left wwe. There was no big named champion. When they made john cena the champ everyone was giving him booooooooooos. So many people loved the rock and when he turned on them to go to hollywood people wanted him back. Vince tried to make a champion out of john cena. I believe a lot of the people who used to boo him are getting used to him and like him better now. How ever there is only one way to get rid of the hate people have for cena and that is to bring back the rock and have the rock fight cena. The rock was funny, exciting and cena is just this vanilla ice army guy who has no ideal how to entertain a crowd. He was just put in the right place at the right time and is capitalizing off it. However throw the hate stuff out the window. He is a guy like everyone else, he is a person. Dont hate the player. Hate vince mcmahon for being to much of a cheap skate to keep the rock on raw.

He is... Say it with me... OVERATED!!!!. He is talentless. He can't even wrestle. He has 3 Grapple moves and one boring Submission. That doesn't impress me as a wrestling fan. Edge is a well balanced Superstar. Something Cena will never be. He needs to get a Crow bar and pry his lips from Vinces @rse. And go back to OVW and pick up some skills.
