1. To Kill a Mockingbird
I loved reading that book! I had so much trouble putting it down. Plus I think its easier to read than the rest and if you get stumped all you have to do is watch the movie.

To kill a mockingbird is amazing. I'm in 8th grade too, and I loved that book. I also like Walk two moons, but i'd choose to kill a mockingbird.

I loved "Of Mice & Men" ...
However, I just read "To Kill a Mockingbird" for the first time 2 years ago. Very Good.
I would pick between either one of those.

An 8th grader friend of mine read To Kill a Mockingbird, and she said that she loved it. 1984 is also a great book, you should read that too.

Although, they are both dark and portentious, it is a toss up between Lord of the Flies and 1984. Both are well written, albeit grim commentaries on the human condition.

try maximum ride by James Patterson.its about a 5kids who grew up in a lab in cages well they escape and fly away yup they can fly .they are 98% human and 2% bird.well now they have erasers hunting them they are also from the lab.they are part human and part wolf.its really cool.if you like that try maximum ride the angel experiment .and the 3rd is coming out may 22CD.
