I live in California so I followed Bush's career since his freshman year. I'm just wondering what do the people of Houston or any fans think of the drafting of Williams over Bush. Bush had a way better season then Williams and he shows great potential of being even better. If I was a Texan fan, I'll be really upset because the organization let go a potential superstar and probably the most exciting player in the league. I know the Head coach, GM and owner, they'll say they stand by their decision but you know thats all politics and that eveytime Bush does some crazy move to get in the endzone, they all punch themselves.

People were upset when he was drafted in April. After watching what Bush and Vince Young did this season they are pissed. How dumb could the Texans possibly be. Passed up on possible hall of famers for a good not great De.

Still pretty pissed off
allot of people compare it to when Jordan got drafted, but even then we picked the hometown hero (Hakeem) everyone loved that

but the Texans missed both the home town hero Vince, and Reggie
AND now they are trying to move Carr!!!! the one reason we didn't pick up Vince

Yea Still very pissed off, but I try not to think about it, its in the past nothing can be done
hope the best for Mario, and it would be nice to pick up AP, or Quinn(doubt it)

Its not like the guys up stairs care what the fans want anyway
LOL but it doesn't look like they want to win either

I think that Texans fans are angry in general about the fact that their team could have had Reggies Bush, Matt Leinart, Or even Vince Young but got stuck with Mario Williams instead.

I don't think the upper management punches themselves. There is a reason they didn't pick Bush, but don't ask me what it is. The fans of the Texans has been upset with the pick of Williams from the start though.

Its funny...because I live near the town where Mario Williams went to high school...and for a couple weeks after the draft, he was the toast of the town, all everyone was talking about...Needless to say, after the season progressed, the high praise of Williams seemed to die down...

I wouldn't exactly put him in the same category with Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White, the two best defenders in NFL history...

Mario has been knocked for his sack attack for a million a million/2 seasons. This 365 days he has a finished of 13, putting him superb up there with the desirable of them..the only subject that folk sleep on is Mario's run protection..he's and has been a brick wall considering that day one. yet that's ignored because of the fact the common see the equation as DE=SACK...

I would be, Mario Williams wasn't even close to winning defensive rookie of the year, his teammate drafted in the second round won out over his college teammate who plays DL for Chicago.

I think Vince Young is who they re agonizing about. He was playmaker they needed. Carr isn't going to play for the Texans much longer. Look for them to trade for Plummer or draft a QB in the first round.

They should be. Reggie Bush would have been a much better pick for them. Not only would he get the job done at running back, he would also have sold more tickets too.
