Buy a netgear DG834 in either 54 mbps, I have this one, or the 108 mbps version. I was undecided between belkin and netgear so looked at www.reviewcenter.com and netgear comes out best. Say no more, it has to be a netgear

I have a Zyxel 660, they are on offer in P C World at the minute. They are £42 at the moment. I have found it very good. Very easy to set up and works as fast as my bt broardband does.

frist of all you need to know what type is it for BT or NTL Cable

First of all you need and ADSL for BT Land Lines
Second you need a DSL router for ntl or virginnet

SO anyone will work but with BT landlines you will need a router with modem eg: belkin Modem G router 125speed at 108g ok
