Human beings have created a false reality. We have told ourselves that there is a limit to abundance. Apparently, everyone cannot have lots of money, love, or happiness. But this is a lie...we can all be abundant. If you are a believer in God, look in the bible and you will read that God says it. He even promotes abundance. We are here to live in abundance.

The chasm between the have's and have-nots is becoming greater every year. It reminds of Bush's quote saying "we're the Have-mores" when addressing his fellow texans.

In 50 years at our current rate of growth, our earth will be at 10 billion souls, with zero fossil fuels, zero coal and other natural resources. We'll be fighting over water. The majority of the populatin will be in sub-Sahara Africa and other third world countries. Only a cataclysmis event will bring us back down to 3 billion, a more sustainable population.

let's talk reality here. everyone cannot live a life of abundance , because everyone does not have the same opportunities. remember the old saying ...."It takes money to make money." there will always be, the rich , the poor, and the ones in between. Alot of poor people believe in god...so why are they poor? Not enough resources? Race issues? Is everyone born into a family that has alot of money? No!!! I know the lord put everything on earth for "EVERYONE", but it seems the only people that have an abundance are the ones that have families that already have the resources. Going to college helps, but think about all the people that have degrees and still working at Walmart. if everything was put on earth for us all, why do we have to buy land, food, cars , pay bills, etc? Go figure.

Of course we can live in abundance. The difficulty arises when we realise that we have to pay a price for what we get because there is always a price for everything. I don't mean a monetary fee, I mean a sacrifice, a commitment, an obligation etc. If we became clear first off on what price is required, we would live more consciously of what we have and have not and why. Sometimes abundance is just not worth the price we have to pay.

I don't know how old you are but it is not always necessary to live a life of abundance. Some of us are just real satisfied to have our needs met and once in a while surprise ourselves with a 'want'. Your idea of abundance may mean something quite opposite to me. An abundance of compassion is worth so much more than THINGS and BIG BUCKS. That's how I honestly feel.

Money naturally floats to the top, which is why there are billionaires. It always has and always will. Money is also a finite source. Just so much to spread around and when it gets concentrated in the hands of extremely rich, who don't need to spend it, the money gets scarce at the bottom. It moves up the financial food chain, thinning out the middle class as the poor's ranks fill. Simple cash flow economics.

The only program that will even begin to work for everybody, is socialism. That means everybody is equally poor. The truth of the situation is, that there will always be haves and have nots. All we can do is provide for a robust middle class with easy access.
Under the current administration, that is going to be hard to do.

I have a feeling that God's abundance is not at the expense of ther people, nor does it take the place of love, joy, or realtionships. It is also not based on belongings or material wealth. i believe abundance is a state of mind, just as poverty can be.

There is no honor in poverty. We were meant to live more abundantly, so why don't we? Poverty is a social disease caused by wrong thinking. In many ways we are told that it is a sin to want more or to focus on financial gain. Other times, we humans are so self-deprecating, we feel we don't deserve to be wealthy. At the other end of the spectrum, we see people using greed to its fullest extent which is simply the opposite end of the same problem.

I believe it is possible to be rich beyond measure regardless of religion, sex, race, or class. A person can have a huge bank account and be miserable and another could live in poverty and be happy. Why would god let children be born into poverty anyway?
