It's been awhile, but people are certainly thinking of their loved ones. I didn't lose anyone in that tragedy, but I was devestated and scared. I felt for other people who had lost loved ones, and I cried a long time. No, people haven't forgotten. They are just trying to get on with their lives, and wait for the storm to pass. The war isn't coming close to an end, and I'm afraid there isn't much we can do. America is a strong country, but it's people seem to be growing weaker. United we stand? I doubt it. That phrase used to mean more to people and the world. We must help our country stand bold and proud as the flag flies high. Oh..... say can you see!!!.....By the dawn's early light! What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming.......

I feel like thier is a gapping hole in my city, my state, my country and my heart that no one gives a damn about anymore. The government lied to us and we fell for it, we beleived that Iraq had something to do with 9-11 and now we have a moral obligation to clean up our own mess (Sorry but Americans should not cut and run no matter how hard it gets, we made the mess, now clean it up) In the mean time the murderer who lead the attack is still free and no one seems to care. The first poster here said she was tried of it all. My God, more Americans dead then any day other then Gettysgurg and you are tried of it all. If I had my way they would show that foootage day in and day out until we got the bas*a*ds that did it. No instead we are subject to Anna Nicole and Brittany Spear. I bet more people can tell you that Anna N is dead then can name one person who died on that horrible day. We should be ashamed of ourselves as a nation we have done the one thing a nation should never do we Have FORGOTTEN our honored Dead:
IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
The dead of 9-11 Do not sleep for we have broken faith with them

I am still very saddened and shocked by it. I feel less secure in my country ever since it happened. It doesn't even seem like it was even as long ago as it was. People who are tired of hearing about, too bad. It should remain fresh in everyones memories, and should not just be something written in text books in the future. It was a major assault, not just on the Twin Towers, but on the American people as a whole.

It was the biggest tragedy in American history without a doubt. It is sad a lot of people have nearly forgotten it and some politicians only uses its memory for political gain.
I think Abe Lincoln said it best, a house divided against itself cannot stand.

It should have been are call to war on Muslim terrorists through out the world.
We haven't been attack on US soil since War of 1812.
More Americans die on that day than any day in our history.
It saddens me to think that people have reduce it to bin laden or nothing and refuse to see the big picture of what we are dealing with.
We can stop at the source or wait around for the next one.

there is nooo reason why we shouldn't be in iraq right now. if we weren't-- we could be easily under iraqi rule. they mistreat all their people there and america is there to help. people think we are bombing everything and killing everyone because of all the liberal media. and it is ALL false!!if everyone quit believing the stupid liberal media than yes...our nation could be 'united'.

I'm sick of having to hear about it all the time. I know it's kinda harsh and I'm sorry to all the families that were devastated by it...but I think the media likes to drag it out too much.
