Maybe this song i wrote might help:
My Mitosis
What u gonna do with that mitosis, that mitosis inside that cell?
I’m gonna replace old cells, replace old cells inside that organism!
What u gonna do with that mitosis, that mitosis inside that cell?
I’m gonna repair cells; repair cells when u get hurt!
What u gonna do with that mitosis, that mitosis inside that cell?
I’m gonna make u grow, make u grow, grow, make u grow!
Mitosis drives us crazy; it does it on the daily
It treats us really nicely; helping out our cells-y.
Prophase and Metaphase
Anaphase then telephase
Caring they be sharing all those chromosomes
Be riding; the nucleus dividing
Into two new nuclei
Mitosis is really fly
Helping out the cells so the organism doesn’t die
Coz of mitosis, mito-mito-mitosis. Mito-mito-mitosis Mitosis in the cell
It got you li----vi----ng.
Condense your chromatin into the chromosomes and form the sissy-sister chromatids
And create the lovely prophase which is my first stage for you!
But the nuclear envelope bre~aks down, causing the centrosomes to separate, and the microtubules atta~ch to my chromosomes at the Centromere!
What’d ya gonna do with all that metaphase all that metaphase inside your mitosis?
I’m gonna create the second stage and line up, line up all my chromosomes!
What’d ya gonna do with all that anaphase all that anaphase during that third stage?
I’m gonna pull pull pull apart the sissy-sister chromatids with my microtubules!
Oh, what’d ya gonna do with all that telophase, all that telophase that is your last stage?
I’m gonna undo undo everything that happened during prophase!
Du~ring telophase, I asked my cells, “hey hey hey, what u gonna create with all that telophase” and they told me, I’m gonna form a cleavage furrow for the an-I-mal cell and cell plates for the plants!”
Oh, what’d ya gonna do with all the mitosis, all that mitosis, inside your cell?
Its gonna make you happy, make you healthy, all along because of my lovely little mitosis, my mitosis, my fresh functioning mitosis!
In conclusion the stages are metaphase, prophase, anaphase, and telophase.

Mitotic cell division has several stages.Prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase.
at metaphase, chromosomes line up clearly in the middle of the cell ,It;s beautiful.
