You are right!!
Yet the smoking propaganda is so very extreme and alcohol is still portrayed as a fun social hobby.

Yes they are going overboard. Its stupid telling a person to not smoke when it is their right here in america. I dont know if its the same anywhere else but if you can smoke a cigarrette legally then do it if you want to. Those truth commercials need to shut up because its a life choice that your gonna have to make someday and you cant let someone influence that decision.

I just saw Judas Rabbi's answer. When I was smoking I would drive to Indiana to buy my cigarettes, always pay cash. $30/ carton. Michigan raised their cigarette tax so it is $48 /carton. Never used a credit card, because Michigan has been prosecuting people for doing that ! That is a fact people. So we now actually have the cigarette POLICE. They made a deal with Indiana to search all their cig sales and force people to pay the taxes they would have had to pay in Michigan.
By the way I quit smoking six months ago.

No, definitely not, and I think there needs to be a lot more anti-drinking and driving propaganda. Thousands of people are killed every year by drunk drivers.
Have you seen anyone die from lung cancer? I have. Also smokers throw ciagerette buttes out all over drive-ways at convenience stores and store parking lots.

Well smoking and driving doesn't kill, so it will help help to over populate the world some more, unless you get cancer first. Drinking and driving can kill the innocent, the drunks usually live to get a second chance.

If you want to smoke ,smoke! Just don't do it anywhere the rest of us have to breathe! You can drink yourself sick and other than driving your not going to bother me but smoking is a whole other story! Your smoke can make me ill and I should not have to deal with it! So smoke if you must but don't ask me to cause I think it stinks!

Well, I personally think it's because that smoking is just obnoxious. When people drink: sure, whatever. But smoking: annoys me like ****. I, personally, would not like my lungs to turn black from other gaywads who like to smoke right in people's faces.

Hell yes! These freaking morons haven't yet figured out that you can't force people to be healthy. A bunch of a*s*sholes get their panties all creamy by trying to run everybodys life the way they think others should live. It's sickening!
