and that person turns gay when they get older ,is because of what there father had done to them as a child?

helllllllooooooooooo, you don't "turn gay" you are born gay or you're not, sometimes I think that you try to conform to others expectations and you may think that you are one thing then you decide to experiment and you realize that you are not what you thought that you were so there is no turning anything and also if you can find ANY evidence that being the product of child molestation "turns" somebody gay (not) you had better post it with the question. I have heard of many cases where a child has been molested by their parents and they are straight.
Oh for your information anybody that molests a small child is called a pedophile and there is evidence THAT it is a mental illness.

I dont know if I agree with the people that being molested by a person of the same sex cant influence your sexuality. I would think that it could confuse you if you had any pleasure from it as a child. I had a friend who was molested by his step brothers. He grew up to be gay. Maybe he was from birth but at the same time, from time to time he would meet women he would have relationships with them. Was he really gay? Was he bisexual? Was he really straight but confused?
I just think when children are molested it messes up your head and for political reasons the gay rights movement (which I totally support) wont every admit that.
Its like this, why are so many strippers lesbians. Is it because they really like women, or get so disgusted with men they turn lesbian?

No, molestation does not Cause someone to become gay.
Being gay is something innate, many more children (both male and female) are molested who are not gay. So the theory does not stand.

No. Gay people are born gay. Children molested by their father could / do suffer many types of problems like, stress, depression, etc. etc. but they don't become gay.

Were you relating to fathers molesting sons - or daughters? I didn't know if you were asking if it would make the daughter hate men or if you meant make the son be attracted to them.
I think no in either case, but was just trying to understand your question a little better.

Nothing can *cause* you to be gay. Its just something that is a part of you when you are born. Being molested can have some serious psychological effects and may cause certain aversions to one gender, age, color etc. but it doesn't change your sexuality. Nothing can change that.
