Thanks for your kind replies. I guess you can only feel sorry for these people at the end of the day; theyre a long long way from where we are and I know where Id rather be.

You have my deepest sympathies. I was subject to a similar attack yesterday. I've got a torn ligament in my groin, which makes me limp. What the deadheads did not realise is that I got the injury through lifting weights. I was able to balance on my one good leg and put both of my muggers in the gutter. I was an amateur wrestler for thirty years and I have served in the British Armed Forces.
Next time that I get mugged, I'll put in a punch or two for you. Revenge is sweet, even if it is by proxy.
