The Return of the Native By Thomas Hardy
Christian, Charley, Diggory, Eustacia, Thomasin
I love those names. They are very creative and beautiful names. Kind of odd and old sounding too.

Well, if I were the only one to choose the boy would be Damian, like Hesse`s character. I would hope my son to become strong minded, determined, power-full person. Or Andrei, like Andrei Bolkonskiy in "War&Peace", hoping he would be polite, well educated, well mannered gentleman.
As for a girl....mmmmmm, I once red a story about a girl called Diamara. The story wasn`t much, but I liked the name....
Elisabeth, like the heroine of "Pride&Prejudice"....Luthien, to honour Tolkien....

The Holy Bible. It is full of interesting people and you know of their backgrounds and what they did. You have a whole host of names from both the Old and New Testaments to choose from. Hope it helps.
