The best one is fear of public speaking. Nearly everyone is afraid of that. Whatever you name, make sure you make it sound like it's a challenge that you are working to overcome.

Never use something and try to make it look like a positive. The perfectionist or work-a-holic for example. They know you're not perfect, so be honest. They want to know how you deal with adversity and if you can be honest and if you are willing to improve.

I would suggest avoiding 'cute answers'....they will only ask you again for a more thoughtful, serious response. You could also use something from your past that you overcame.

i've got peformed many interviews over the years. it is all good and properly to look effective and intensify the positives, yet what i prefer to work out is somebody who can settle for the reality that they don't look to be desirable. Then i comprehend that they are trainable. somebody who can not admit they have faults/weaknesses, or by no skill have confidence they're incorrect are actually not the human beings i prefer to artwork for me! yet as somebody stated above, turn a weak point right into a favorable by skill of the two explaining what you found out from it, what you have completed to conquer it, or itemizing a weak point this is a md's dream (like being an overacheiver!)

Just look at your life and see where you haven't been consistent with things, been late, broken promises, were lazy.
Then honestly tell the interviewer that you're still working on some of those. Be careful not to overemphasize your weaknesses but rather the fact that you're improving.

Don't say "I'm a perfectionist" A good hirer will see right past that and see you out the door. Because a true perfectionist would have thought of a better answer.

It doesn't really matter what it is as long as you phrase it correctly. Phrase it like "One area of my personality that I am working on improving is..." Saying that its a weakness sounds like you are conceding to it. Maybe also offer some ways that you are working on it.

I am not kidding when I tell you this:

If they say, what is your biggest weakness, you should say (and I say) "Chocolate. I love chocolate and can't resist it."

Why? Cause anything else you say will be held against you.

Sometimes people say, we'll I'm a bit of a control freak and I need to make sure everything is perfect. They see you as someone who can't delegate.

Some say, "I really put my job first too much and don't leave much time for my personal life" That shows that you have a problem prioritizing and that you may burn yourself out.

say you tend to loose balance in your personal life from working too hard and long hours

you get so focused you forget to take breaks on time

your wife gets mad at you for being home late because you work longer hours when needed

Get the drift...admit no real weaknesses, but give an answer if they ask.

My friends have told me in the past that I get too caught up in my work. I think a weakness of mine is that I like to see things through to the end. That sometimes means thinking about work-related projects when I'm not at work."

You try to hard, you are a perfectionist. All I can think of at the moment.
